Congratulations to the senior basketball team, Ben Robb, Annalee Black, Tyler Steele, Caleb Kitto, Keiran Marsh, Josh Ballschmiede and Caleb Darling who successfully defended their title as Lawrence Community Basketball Champions for the 4th year in a row!! The team played some great basketball in the final to beat the adult team of Berna’s Belles 47-25.. Congratulations also to the junior team who played their best game of the season but narrowly lost 53-41. It has been awesome to see the improvement in basketball skills of these young players, we look forward to next season. Many thanks to all the friends and family who travelled to Lawrence to cheer the team on. A very big thank you to Kate and John at Lawrence Area School for running this fantastic competition.
