Year 9 and 10 students take five core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Physical Education & Health.

They then have a choice of two optional electives alongside modules of Food, Material and Digital technology. The Yr 9 and 10 curriculum is designed to give a broad, balanced education to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum.

Year 11-13 students study towards external qualifications with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) at NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3. They are offered a variety of subjects, including those taught through NetNZ or Te Kura (correspondence school). Our focus at this level is to equip students for the transition to the post-school world of employment or further education, and provide each student with a relevant course of study that matches their strengths and abilities.

All year 11-13 students have a mentor teacher to provide extra guidance and support when needed.
