Roxburgh Area School
The Gateway programme provides senior students (Year 11-13) with opportunities to access supported workplace learning.
It allows students to have structured workplace learning across a range of industries and businesses, combined with school-based learning.
Unit standards are based on the industry chosen, and students spend time working on relevant unit standards at school. They can progress to a Gateway Placement in the industry chosen when the opportunity arises.
The Gateway Programme is individual-based, which means that we are able to cater for individual interests. We are able to provide placements for industries such as tourism and agriculture, plus many others.
